Hong Kong Rope Safety Laboratory (HK-RSL) is a professional laboratory specialized in testing wire ropes and wire rope materials. HK-RSL was founded and built up to assure and improve the safety of rope users, such as elevator passengers, installers, service people, crane operators and more. At the same time HK-RSL contributes support to elevator service companies, rope manufacturers, rope distributors, property owners and authorities.

Services

HK-RSL offers wire rope and rope material testing services.
Rope testing services, i.e.,manufacture verification and load tensile according to EN 12385-5:2002 and ISO 4344:2004.
Other than that, HK-RSL provides rope lifetime tests as well as rope materials tests, such as lubricant content tests. In addition, our well-trained team of engineers provides wire rope and rope/elevator related on-site inspections and analysis.
Furthermore, HK-RSL provides tests according to customer standards.
